The products that WRRYFree Skin Care supplied to me for testing and review.
I had the awesome opportunity to sample some products from WRRYFree Skin Care this week. I was a bit skeptical at first because I am pretty careful to use natural products on my skin as my skin is extremely sensitive. To my delight, I looked over their website and all their products ARE natural.
I chose to review the Cool Spray and I love it as much as I thought I would! I spray it on myself every day now. I started out just spraying it on my chest, but it feels refreshing on my back and neck too! When the mist hits your skin it has a nice cooling sensation and the scent is soothing. I am especially loving spraying it on my neck where it not only cools, but is closer to my nose so I just breathe in the scent. The bottle is small enough to fit in my purse (2 oz) but large enough to last for a while.
WRRYFree Skin Care also sent 3 additional sample products: Cliimb On! Intensive Skin Care lotion bar mini, Climb On! Intensive Skin Care creme sample, and Climb On! Mineral Sunscreen.
Each of the products has it's own light scent with nothing overpowering or artificial smelling. The Climb On! lotion bar is pretty neat. You just rub the little bar on your skin. It feels like a protective layer, but it's not sticky at all.
The Climb On! Intensive Skin Care creme goes on greasy, but absorbs quickly. You only need a little of this. I think this would be great to use in the winter dry months with a pair of white cotton gloves before you go to bed. I am trying this on a patch of eczema on my husband's ankle. I have also been using it on my feet and it works great.
The Climb On! Mineral Sunscreen feels silky smooth when you apply it and stays on well.
I like all of the products that I have tried, but I am holding out on final review for The Climb On! Intensive Skin Care creme as I didn't think about trying it on my husband's eczema until today. I appreciate WRRYFree Skin Care for allowing me to try them as well as teaming up with The Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project to support Hunger Action Month.
If you read our blog at all, you know we support The Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project when we can - this is one of our favorite charity organizations because not only do they collect tote bags for the food bank patrons, they also support other organizations that are looking for specific donations. I can't tell you enough about them, but you can find out more by following them on Facebook. Through The Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project, we also try to support the Food Bank when we get good deals to donate. No one should go hungry, and you really don't have to spend a lot to help.
And, here is the fun part - you could win this Mini Extreme Special from WRRYFREE Skin Care.
Good luck!

Disclosure: I received the items at no charge from WRRYFree Skin Care. Although I received these products at no cost, the review is my own honest opinion. I really enjoyed their products!
I look forward to hearing your follow-up thoughts on the Creme!
ReplyDeleteThe Bar and Creme in tandem has been really effective in helping Eczema. I personally have Eczema myself and to really treat Eczema effectively it takes lots of trial and error.
Check out this article on Eczema about triggers and factors that can worsen it. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001856/
Personally I avoid any product containing "fragrance." Fragrance is an ingredient that can mean over 200 different things commonly found in many cosmetics.
I also use "Free and Clear" laundry detergent. In addition, I Changed the kinds of soap i use to wash my hands and body. These are just some of the adjustments I made but you really have to experiment.
My full package of products includes..
Climb On! Bar to put on THICKLY immediately after showering or anytime I sense a flare-up. Constantly apply Climb On! Creme for moisturizing.
In the shower I use Climb On's What's Natural Shampoo and Conditioner. I use Bast! Face Wash and Castile Soap (Baby) for body and hand washing.
My eczema is a very serve case from what I have found so just a few of these adjustments might just do it for you!
Thank you for the information, Will. I am a firm believer in natural products. I pretty much switched over to all natural products for myself and our househould, my husband still uses regular products for bathing and such. I am trying to convince him that natural is better but he's still not ready to switch yet. Maybe I need to work a little harder on getting him to switch.
ReplyDeleteFor me, I used to have mild eczema on my hands (especially in the hot summer months) and this year, I didn't get it! Yes, I attribute it to switching over to natural products.
Again, thank you for the information.
Wendy
I'd also like to point out we have an wonderful education part of our website for folks to check out. Lots of information about Cosmetics. Did you know 4 in 5 Sunscreens tested by the EWG contained potentially hazardous ingredients? We are proud to say our sunscreen was rated as one of the Best Beach and Sport Sunscreens and was the only 100% Pure product with Food Grade ingredients.
DeleteI'd love to try the lip tube. My lips get dry and cracked in the winter and I struggle to keep them healthy!
ReplyDeleteI get eczema at odd times. Heat brings it out and itches really bad.
